For brunch, my dear hubby @elchugordon prepared: tortilla Espanola (which is literally Spanish fritatta made with eggs, potatoes and onions). We also had his warm, fresh out the oven pitas with the recipe of our dear friend @kineretzabner. I made babaganoush and a salad with tomatoes, olive oil and goat cheese.
Not bad to start the new year sharing a hearty meal with the family!
Rafael used to have a Spanish restaurant in the heart of Hollywood called “Tapas”. I bet you didn’t know that! He was the pioneer of Spanish tapas in Los Angeles back in 1989. I’m enjoying his proficiency and creativity in the kitchen 🤩️
